The main property was built according with the architectural drawings of a well-known swiss architect, Louis Blanc and was the house where Tache Ionescu lived most of his life.
Tache Ionescu was born in Ploiesti, studied law in Paris, in 1884 and become a deputy, and in 1891 he becomes Minister of Cults and Public Instruction. Tache Ionescu knows a continuous ascent in the political life of the time, in 1920-1922 for a short period, becoming Prime Minister.
The house had at the ground floor a waiting room and Tache Ionescu`s office, the place where he received the audiences. Still in the same building was the huge library. The rooms were simplistacally decorated with wooden panels and the access to the up floor is made through a circular staircase.
