The Dinu Lipatti Memorial House, located on Lascăr Catargiu Boulevard, was built in 1902, following the indications of the renowned architect Petre Antonescu.
The house where Dinu Lipatti (1917–1950) lived has six rooms and two attic rooms. The masonry is made of concrete, and the carpentry is wooden, with marble window sills.
The floors of the rooms are covered with parquet.
The building, with its main features of Baroque origin, has elegantly decorated window frames and entrance portal with vegetal motifs.
This bourgeois residence was typical of late 19th-century Bucharest.
